What is Compounding?
Pharmaceutical compounding is the process of customisation of a medication for an individual patient in response to an identified need.
This provides patients with pharmaceutical products that are tailored to fit their own unique health requirements.
We work closely with a wide range of expert health professionals to achieve a holistic approach for patient treatment. This includes experienced General Practitioners (GPs), specialists, nutritionists, physiotherapists, and dentists.

Compounding tasks are performed while strictly adhering to the guidelines set out by the Pharmacy Board, Therapeutic Good Administration (TGA) and USP Reference Standards while also in accordance with the Australian code of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
We have developed a set of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and put them in place to ensure the quality, uniformity, and consistency of the final preparation. These are regularly reviewed and updated to ensure that we are carrying out each step in the compounding process at the highest possible level.
